It is our vision that King’s Lynn should be a town where no one has to sleep rough on the streets, and that people should have access to shelter through the winter months.

The King's Lynn Night Shelter is open from 5th October 2021 until 30th June 2022. We welcome guests (residents) by referral from any local organisation working with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Please contact us for a referral form.

People sleep rough in King’s Lynn for a variety of reasons and common factors include: mental health issues, substance misuse and addiction, housing issues such as family conflict and/or relationship breakdown between partners, homelessness and financial problems. Often, people have become disengaged from essential mainstream services. The night shelter offers emergency support and signposting to specialist services that promote safer, healthier lifestyle choice and help individuals to live more independent lives.

Listen to Phil and Joe as they explain their experiences of homelessness. You can also hear Andrew explain how the project began.
