Two's Company
Great Yarmouth Borough Two’s Company closed at the end of February 2022 after a year of telephone befriending support for the local community. 5 churches were involved, and were able to provide support to 19 different individuals during the year.
Two’s Company King's Lynn continues to operate. As Covid-19 restrictions ease, telephone befriending will be supplemented with meeting face to face when it is preferred.
Two’s Company, a phone befriending service which has been set up in partnership with national charity, Linking Lives UK, aims to provide companionship to those most susceptible to isolation at this time, due to age, location, health or others factors.
Picking up the phone and chatting to someone in need of company is something that they can do, and in some cases this could prove to literally be a lifeline.
