General help and advice

Stepchange also have a page which helps you to know where to go for help if you are in a financial emergency

The Money Advice Service provides free and impartial money advice, set up by government with advice and guides to help improve your finances, tools and calculators to help keep track and plan ahead, support over the phone and online

The Just Finance Foundation have produced a 'Money First Aid Kit' which provides sign-posting for Budgeting / Credit and Loans / Debt / Savings / Universal Credit


DIAL Great Yarmouth can also provide help and support regarding benefits at their office in Great Yarmouth

    Debt

    Stepchange provides free debt-advice online and by phone.

    Christians Against Poverty provide one-to-one debt support through home visits, along with practical and emotional support. There is a CAP Debt Centre based at Park Baptist Church in Great Yarmouth.

    Citizens Advice Bureau and My Money Steps also provide online support about how to deal with debt. Citizens Advice Bureau have an office on Stone Cutters Way in Great Yarmouth and run drop-ins every week day.

    Friends of the Elderly can provide financial support for older people

    Find Your Credit Union helps you to locate where you can save and borrow from an ethical lender. Anyone living in Norfolk can use Norwich Credit Union.

    The Money For Life Programme gives tips on how to save money in everyday life.

    Homelessness
